Access the App Switcher on your iPhone or iPad

Sometimes you just want to switch between two apps without having to go to the homescreen. iPhones and iPads have an easy way to help you do that, if you know this tip.

1. This only works on iPhones with Face ID or iPads
2. From any screen, swipe up about ¼ of the way starting from the long pill-shaped bar at the bottom of the screen
3. Release your finger
4. Swipe to the right to swipe through your apps
