Customize Control Center on your iPhone to Access Apple Remote, and More

Control Center is one of the most useful, but hidden features on your phone. Not only can you control your music, turn on and off Airplane Mode, adjust the brightness and sound levels, and so, so much more, but you can also fully customize Control Center.

After the first set of controls that are preinstalled you’ll notice an area that has many buttons. These are fully customizable. That’s what we’re going to discuss today: changing which buttons show up in this area.

Steps:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Go to Control Center
  3. Scroll Down
  4. You can delete controls from Control Center by tapping the red minus icon
  5. You can add controls by tapping the green plus icon
  6. In this example, we’ve removed Wallet and added Calculator. 
  7. As you can see, there are many options that you can add here, including:
    1. Music Recognition powered by Shazam
    2. QR Code Scanner
    3. Apple TV Remove
    4. Magnifier
    5. So much more
